A warm welcome.
I’m so glad you found your way here.

Whether you’re brand new to therapy,
are a seasoned ‘therapy goer’, are ‘therapy curious’,
or find yourself anywhere in between,
you are welcome here!

It takes strength to lean into connection,
especially during hard times.

Please know you do not have to navigate it all on your own (we’re not meant to).

About

👋 Hi, I’m Jenna (she/her).

I’ve always been curious about what it means to be
human — how we make sense of ourselves, the world around us, and the stories we carry.

I'm passionate about the mental health and well being of all people and deeply believe that we aren’t meant to go through life alone. We’re wired for connection — and connection is often where healing begins.

With over nine years of experience in helping roles, I’ve had the honour of walking alongside people in many different seasons of life. I’m continually inspired by the strength and wisdom that lives inside each person I work with. I truly believe that we all carry innate gifts — and that healing and growth are not only possible, but natural. Our brains want to heal when they feel safe and supported.

Before becoming a therapist, I volunteered with a local nonprofit supporting folks navigating birth control and unplanned pregnancies. I’ve also had the privilege of offering support to University of Manitoba students through counselling practicums, and spent time working with men healing from childhood trauma. Over the years, much of my work has centered around supporting people who are living with the lasting effects of unresolved childhood trauma.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. I hold a degree in Conflict Resolution Studies from the University of Winnipeg (2014), an Applied Counselling Certificate from the University of Manitoba (2016), and both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work (2018 & 2020).
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Manitoba College of Social Workers (#5116).

Outside of therapy, you’ll likely find me spending time in nature, adventuring with my partner and our (very!) curious pup, or recharging solo in a hammock with a podcast. Live music brings me joy (as long as I have my Loop earplugs) as well as laughing at live comedy, caring for my plants, and staying grounded through movement.

Services

Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning to it, you are welcome here.

I offer one-on-one therapy to young adults (18-29) and adults living in Manitoba, Canada.

Sessions are 60minutes and priced at $130.
I don’t offer direct billing, but I’ll provide a receipt you can submit to your insurance company. Most insurance plans cover sessions with a Registered Social Worker, though it’s always a good idea to check with your provider ahead of time.

You have options for how we meet — whatever feels most comfortable for you:

  • In person at 1476 Portage Avenue

  • Online through a secure, easy-to-use video platform (Doxy.me — no apps or downloads needed).

I want you to feel at ease, whether you're coming into the office or logging in from the comfort of your own space.

If you’d like to connect or book a session, just send me an email at jennaennstherapy@gmail.com

I’d be happy to hear from you!

Approach

Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold; it can be human, curious, even a little bit hopeful.

I offer a space that’s warm, non-judgmental, and grounded in authentic connection. Together, we’ll explore what’s coming up for you — at your pace, in your way.

I am not a ‘blank slate’ therapist—I am expressive, may curse at times, enjoy a good laugh while simultaneously exploring deep topics and am above all, curious about you! All parts that make you, you.

I use a blend of therapy approaches including EMDR, IFS informed/parts work, mindfulness, and body-based approaches — all grounded in a trauma-informed lens. We’ll figure out what feels like a good fit for you, based on your needs, goals, and what actually helps.

I have experience supporting clients with unresolved childhood trauma, as well as the unique stressors that come with post-secondary life and early adulthood.

I enjoy working with young adults (18–29), adults of all genders, and anyone who’s ready to get curious about their inner world. In our work together, I see you as the expert on your own life — I’m here to offer a space where healing can unfold naturally.

"Healing is an imperfect, lifelong practice of realizing that we were never ‘broken’ to begin with"
